Our seven individually styled ensuite bedrooms have everything you need to feel at home, including thoughtful details such as handmade shortbread to enjoy with your tea and coffee.
Featuring handpicked furnishings, Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and a selection of luxury toiletries, each room has been created to honour our building's history, whilst prioritising our guests' comfort.
???? Travelling to the Cotswolds with your Dog...
The Red Lion has been owned and operated by dog lovers for many years. Each room is named after a much-loved family dog and the walls are decorated with characterful artworks of our four-legged friends.
All seven of our rooms are dog friendly, all we ask is an additional £10 per dog per stay, to cover the additional cleaning that is inevitably required, no matter how good our doggy guests are.
Family stays in the Cotswolds…
If you are travelling with young children, Rosie, our triple room, can be configured as a super king bed or two singles and there is also a single bedded area between the main room and the bathroom.
We are also able to provide a travel cot (which fits comfortably in Rosie, Daisy or Bella) and other baby-related kit such as a high chair and a baby bath, to save you having to bring everything with you.

Quirky King Room
Set in the eves with low door frames and beams, Bella is a comfy and characterful king room.
Double Rooms
Flooded with natural light and full of character, our double rooms offer a comfortable space to relax and unwind.
Twin Room
Made for sharing, our comfortable twin room is beautifully furnished and full of elegant touches.
Single Room
Small yet perfectly formed, our single room is a cosy retreat that has thoughtfully decorated with hand-picked furnishings.

"Booked The Red Lion for a nights stay to enable the family to all be together to celebrate my father’s birthday. We booked 4 of the 5 rooms. All of good size, warm and exceptionally clean. Well stocked rooms with homemade biscuits! And the dog was provided with mat, bowl and his own treats.
